WADA approves reforms to improve athlete representation in agency

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) said on Thursday they have approved reforms designed to give athletes greater representation in the organisation’s decision-making process. WADA decided to reform its athlete council, whose 20 members will now be elected directly by sports professionals. The move comes after athletes of various sports said they were not sufficiently represented at the agency.
