The US will send 15 lakh doses of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to Nepal and 5 lakh doses of Moderna’s vaccine to Bhutan, a White House official said on Friday. The initiative is part of an effort by the US to compete with China to deepen its geopolitical influence through so-called vaccine diplomacy, Reuters reported.
