Tesla is set to face its first jury trial over a car crash after a US court rejected its request to dismiss a case without trial. In 2018, 18-year-old Barrett Riley, who was driving a Tesla Model S, died after his car engulfed into flames after hitting a wall at 116 miles/hour. The lawsuit alleges the car’s battery was defective.
