SC to hear pleas seeking probe into Pegasus controversy on Aug 5

The Supreme Court will be hearing three separate pleas, including the one filed by senior journalists N Ram and Sashi Kumar, that have sought an independent probe into the alleged Pegasus snooping issue on August 5. The two veteran journalists have asked the SC to order the Centre to reveal whether it used Pegasus spyware “directly or indirectly” for surveillance.
