Ultraviolet C-band radiation equipment has been installed in Rajya Sabha chambers to contain the spread of coronavirus, Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu informed on Monday. Speaking on the first day of the second part of the Budget Session, Naidu added that the recently installed equipment “is very effective in killing the virus.” The technology has been developed by CSIR-CSIO.
