Ronald Koeman to replace Louis van Gaal as Dutch boss after World Cup

The Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) on Wednesday announced that former Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman will replace Louis van Gaal as manager after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Van Gaal said last week he is receiving treatment for prostate cancer. Koeman’s first stint as manager of the national team ended in August 2020 so he could join Barcelona.
