Rebels killed 7,000 civilians in Ethiopia's Amhara in 2021: Govt

Nearly 7,000 civilians were killed by the Tigrayan rebels in Ethiopia’s Amhara region between June and December last year, according to a report commissioned by the regional government. The study also documents that several mass graves were found at sites throughout the region. However, the rebels have rejected the findings of the report.
