Pune Metro trains to get dedicated ladies' coach 'Nari Shakti'

Pune Metro will soon run three-coach trains with a dedicated ladies’ compartment called ‘Nari Shakti’, said Hemant Sonawne, Public Relation Officer of Pune Metro. The coaches will be equipped with CCTV cameras, charging sockets, air conditioning and emergency buttons, which will connect a passenger directly to loco pilot and station control room. The fares will be between ₹10-₹20, Sonawne added.
