Paytm files papers for ₹16,600-crore IPO, India's biggest ever public issue

Paytm’s parent company One97 Communications has filed its draft documents to raise ₹16,600 crore through its IPO. The IPO will comprise a fresh issue worth ₹8,300 crore and an offer for sale worth ₹8,300 crore. This will be India’s biggest ever public issue, a record that was previously held by Coal India, which raised ₹15,000 crore in 2010.
