Maharashtra Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad said that no prior permission from housing society will be needed by owner to sell or rent out their flat in Mumbai. Mumbai is a cosmopolitan city and if a flat owner is not allowed to sell or rent their flat to a particular caste, creed and religion, it would hurt city’s image, Awhad said.
