Kannada language exam must for Karnataka crime officer's post

Karnataka State Police Department has made the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Kannada language qualification mandatory for those applying for the Scene of Crime Office (SoCO) post. The decision was taken after candidates complained that there is no language requirement, allowing Karnataka residents to apply. The position requires applicants to have a forensic degree or diploma.
