India's trade with China increased but deficit widened: Foreign Secretary

Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Thursday said that India’s bilateral trade with China increased but trade deficit has widened. “Trade deficit for the nine-month period stood at $47 billion. This is the largest trade deficit we have with any country,” he added. Bilateral trade with China touched $90 billion in the first nine months of 2021, Shringla said.
