A Kerala man, who was India’s first monkeypox patient, has recovered from the disease, said state Health Minister Veena George. She said, “The patient is physically and mentally healthy. The skin bumps are completely cured.” The 35-year-old patient was being treated at Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram and all his samples, along with his family, have tested negative.
