Indian Army deploys K-9 Vajra that can hit targets 50 km away in Ladakh

The Indian Army has deployed the first K9-Vajra self-propelled howitzer regiment in the forward areas in eastern Ladakh amid the ongoing border standoff with China along the Line of Actual Control. The artillery can strike enemy targets at around 50 km. “Their field trials were extremely successful. We have now added an entire regiment,” Army chief General MM Naravane said.
