How can you decide what people want to eat?: Guj HC to AMC on non-veg food stalls

The Gujarat High Court rapped Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) over seizure of non-veg food stalls. While hearing a plea against AMC’s action, the court said, “How can you stop people from eating what they want? Suddenly because somebody in power thinks that this is what they want to do?” Petitioners argued that the seizure was done without any official order.
