Greece on Tuesday said that it has impounded a Russian oil tanker off the island of Evia. The move is part of efforts by Greece to enforce European Union (EU) sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine. Earlier this month, the EU had banned Russian-flagged vessels from its ports with some exemptions.
