Govt has no plans for boosting crypto sector in India: MoS Finance

MoS for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary told the Parliament on Monday that the government has “no plans for boosting the cryptocurrency sector in India”. When questioned about how trustable cryptocurrency is and whether it’s possible for government to regulate it, he said, “Currently, cryptocurrencies are unregulated in India.” He added, “The government doesn’t collect data on the cryptocurrency sector.”
