Girl raped & beaten by man at Maha railway station; 2 police stations refuse to file FIR

A 35-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl at a railway station in Maharashtra’s Ulhasnagar. The incident occurred on Friday when the survivor’s friends were scared away by the man and she was dragged to a room, raped and beaten, police said. Two police stations on Saturday reportedly refused to file FIR over the incident citing jurisdiction.
