France, Germany urge citizens to leave Ethiopia amid conflict

France and Germany on Tuesday urged their citizens to leave Ethiopia as rebels claim to be advancing closer to capital Addis Ababa. Separately, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported the United Nations will evacuate family members of international staff from the war-torn country. Earlier, Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed announced that he will lead the military “from the battlefront” against advancing rebels.
