Can't walk on road even for a few secs: 10-yr-old activist Licypriya as Delhi hits 49°C

As maximum temperatures in Delhi crossed 49 degrees Celsius on Sunday, 10-year-old climate activist Licypriya Kangujam said, “Temperatures are [higher] on the ground than (in) the air.” She said, “When I go out shopping in the afternoon, I can’t walk for even a few seconds on the road…It’s difficult to breathe the air. Very dangerous for kids.”
