Afghanistan's farmers, herders in need of seed, food & cash: UN

The United Nations has said that “catastrophic and famine-like conditions” hang over Afghanistan’s farmers and herders amid drought, adding that they are in need of seed, food and cash. “Around 18.8 million Afghans are unable to feed themselves every day, and the number is set to rise to nearly 23 million by the end of the year,” it further said.
